• Turnaround planning, including expert evaluation of turnaround chemistry and RFPs on behalf of industrial clients

• Planning, supervision, and professional management of industrial chemical cleaning projects

• Training programs for operations personnel in industrial chemical cleaning and vapor phase cleaning, including preparation and execution of courses and/or training manuals. Topics include: chemical cleaning technique, equipment operation, chemical awareness, safety, pump theory, general chemistry, safe work procedures, etc. 

• Planning and execution of vapor phase cleaning projects, acid and caustic cleanings, chelant cleanings of power boilers and new process equipment
• Involvement in R&D to develop more effective degreasing chemistries for the oil sands, new chelant technologies for the removal of inorganic foulants, and specialty solvent cleaning procedures for the removal of polymers in process exchangers at chemical plants
• Designing specialty equipment for industrial chemical cleaning
• Performing contract project work directly with the client turnaround planning team in early stages of planning (T-16 months) to prepare their chemical cleaning plan and methodology to ensure turnaround chemical cleaning success
• Development of detailed chemical cleaning packages for large scale chemical cleaning projects, including timelines, equipment general arrangement diagrams, safe work procedures and JSAs
• Development of training programs and manuals for the chemical cleaning operations personnel
• Providing client technical support, reviewing process fouling issues and providing chemical cleaning solutions.
